This complex is designed as "a gateway to the city", and it achieves this through its silhouette against the sky and nighttime illuminance which can be seen from highways 1,500 meters away.
Scope of Services
CDC provided peer review of the building's envelope design and the roofing system. Design review included comment on selection of equipment and suitability in the UAE environment. Our detailed Constructability Review Report, on the glazing and roof systems relied on the integration of our construction knowledge and our experience in planning, procurement, and construction of complex facilities. Our report also focused on the relationship between the drawings and specifications, and the means and our methods to be employed. CDC also provided value engineering for potential cost saving and value management ideas. CDC also assisted in developing construction sequence, site logistics plans, and strategic procurement strategies.
