Project Description
This 10-story patient care pavilion is an extension of the existing Merritt Pavilion and was subjected to OSHPD review. Six floors include 180 medical/surgical beds and two of the remaining four floors contain acute rehab beds.
Scope of Services
CDC provided design, drawings, and engineering for the curtain walls, canopy, composite panels, metal stud framing, aluminum column covers, fire-rated curtain walls, granite veneer walls, and glass guardrails/screen walls. This was a design-assist hospital that was subjected to a very demanding schedule. The schedule allowed only six months from the start of design assist until OSHPD submission.
