Cook Children's Medical Center North Tower Addition

Project Description

The North Tower is a 5-story, 290,000 square-foot addition to Cook Children's Medical Center. Along with the tower, the addition also includes a 250,000 square-foot medical office building. This entire addition helped consolidate all ambulatory care programs into a single family-oriented environment.

Scope of Services

CDC provided 3-D BIM modeling of the cast stone exterior facade for the general contractor's use in determining conflicts with other materials, 2-D detailing of the cast stone attachment and profiles, fabrication drawings for the cast stone pieces, and structural calculations for the cast stone attachment to the structure.
