Project Description
This 112-story, 551-meter tall tower and convention center is currently on hold. If completed, the tower will be the third tallest building CDC has provided services for. The mixed-use development will include conference, hotel, observation areas, office, and retail spaces.
Scope of Services
CDC provided specialist consulting services to the Owner for peer review during the Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Document phases of work. CDC participated in design workshops and meetings, as well as responded to tender queries. Unique challenges included fire protection design at offset perimeter floor conditions, window washing access and accommodation of equipment in the tower crown, and proposed testing for structural glass fin mullions.
