Project Description

The Pentagon Memorial is designed so the nation may remember and reflect on the events that occurred on September 11, 2001. The 1.93 acre memorial consists of 184 illuminated benches stretching over individual pools of water, in honor of the 184 victims. The benches are arranged according to the victim’s ages, from 3 to 71, and are engraved with the name of each victim.

CDC provided specialized waterproofing consulting in regards to waterproofing of the memorial benches.
